Job Title: QT Developer

Duration: Long term 

Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities: 

• Develop cross-platform GUI products and applications in the areas of IoT (smart homes, smart buildings and smart cities)
• Work on integrating rich, powerful, interactive UI across embedded and web environments
• Develop tests to validate design, performance and reliability
• Evaluate, identify and evangelize new technologies to integrate into the Platform.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required, MS preferred
• 4-5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience in writing QT software, applications and scripts for embedded Linux and web platform
• Responsible for the design, development using Qt Core, Qt GUI, Widgets, QML as well as Qt Bluetooth and Qt Sensors
• Knowledge of design layout using Qt Designer and Qt Creater IDE is preferred
• Develop and deploy software (low/high level) on real time operating systems for hardware-based products.
• Develop and create software build system test procedures, bug tracking reports, and associated test documentation.
• Rapidly evaluate new technology stacks to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to perform within a team environment as needed to meet team goals.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, whether verbally or in writing

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• You consider yourself a "maker"; you love to get your hands dirty by both assembling and dissembling things to understand how they work;
• Experiences shipping mobile or UI products (security products, connectivity etc.)
• Experience shipping products from a major consumer electronics company
