Title                       : Technical Writer

Location               : Charlotte NC

Type                      : 6+ months contract

 

JD

•         3+ years of experience as Technical writer for in-house software application

•         1+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

•         Experience writing training materials for variety of users for delivery in different formats

•         Experience writing technical documentation

•         Experience in helping to create marketing content to be used in product launches for new releases

•         Ability to work with functional users to design,  develop, test and implement documentation, training materials and marketing collateral

•         Excellent verbal and written English-language skills with the ability to create documents with meticulous attention to technical and procedural detail

•         Works effectively under stressful or ambiguous conditions by adapting style, approach and work procedures

•         Self-motivated and quick learner

•         High level of PC literacy, including strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite products and web-based document management tools like SharePoint

 

Nice to Have:

•         Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry

•         Experience working for a software startup

•         Instructional design experience a plus
