Position:  Sr. ATG Developer

Location:  Dallas, TX

Duration: 12 Months

 

 

Must Have Skills:

·         ReactJS, Redux

 

Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical leadership to teams of developers providing application maintenance and support service to multiple ecommerce clients.

·         Ensure code development follows a prescribed work flow from issue identification through testing to completion of development.

·         Oversee and improve upon code management strategies to ensure consistently clean client code releases.

·         Working with a team of ATG developers bringing significant expertise in ATG design patterns, Java and J2EE coding and design patterns, code expertise in coding within the ecommerce space with multiple integration patterns.

·         Experience in Performance Tuning of ATG Applications

·         Understand interrelationships and the impact of systems and applications upon the enterprise wide technical environment.

·         Ensure application architecture standards, policies and procedures are implemented and followed.

·         Work with business user teams to discuss, recommend, explain, and reconcile desired functionality and technology capabilities.

·         Ability to think strategically and drive development strategies and tactics that produce faster turnaround on features and also world-class performance.

·         Design for high performance and growth in order to ensure that the application is highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic.

·         Help diagnose and resolve escalated production performance and stability issues.

·         Five years of experience in Software Development or Programming & Analysis, including Commerce Search Platforms, such as ATG Search and/or Endeca, 3rd party system integrations, ATG and Java, J2EE, and JavaScript.
