Role: MS SQL Server Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 9 months 

Max pay Rate: $50/hr on C2C all inc. 

Must have 10 + years of experience 

Must have Financial Domain exp.  

Must have: SQL Server, MYSQL, knowledge or experience in Oracle, DB2, and Sybase, and need to have Metadata experience.

Job description:

Positions Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Details (size, scale, scope)

Need to be able to utilize and extract LARGE sets of data from all DB types listed. (SQL/Server, MySQL, Sybase, Oracle, DB2/UDB) 

Expert level skills in quantitative data management. Senior-level scripts and code (MySQL) 

Bonus is having knowledge in fixed income data analysis.

New application development (not yet released to public) is for the swap markets – it will be real time application – for trading of futures.

Will need experience in stress-testing and looking at failures and redundancies in development.

What are the top 3 MUST HAVE requirements of the position (years exp, technical, etc.) ?

1. SQL Server, MySQL – Senior level experience

2. Sybase, Oracle, DB2/UDB

3. Metadata experience  / stress testing

NICE TO HAVES:

1. Credit swaps – Industry knowledge

2. Fixed income data analysis

3. Foreign exchanges and trade surveillance
