Position: Senior Big Data Solutions Architect

Location: Minnetonka, MN (open to nonlocal candidates)

Duration: Contract to hire (contract may range from 6-12+ months)

Immigration status: EAD-GC/USC/GC (must be able to convert without sponsorship)

Interview: Phone/WebEx

 

 

Required Qualifications:

•         Minimum 15 years in the IT profession

•         Minimum 5 years of Architecture experience

•         Minimum 5 years of hands on experience with Data Management using Big Data Technologies

•         Experience with end to end implementations of big data efforts

•         Driving technology decisions and hardening of big data technologies and capabilities in an established big data environment

•         Proven performance and capacity management in a big data environment

•         Minimum 5 years of experience creating DM / DW architectures

•         Experience with various data intake, staging and integration methods and tools

•         Demonstrated mentoring experience

•         Demonstrated ability to delivery programs from start to implementation

•         Experience delivering against long-term and strategic technology roadmaps

•         Success leading multiple programs using the Agile methodology

•         High accountability with a demonstrated ability to deliver

•         Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely ideas (both verbally and in writing) to executives, peers and technologists

•         Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

•         Hands on experience with Spark & ElasticSearch

•         Hands on experience with delivering streaming, message queues and consumption models into and out of a big data environment

•         Experience with lead role in Java development

•         Experience with Meta Data tools and techniques

•         Experience with ELT tools such as Talend
