· Responsible for globally for all of their site. Deliver power and cooling to the levels of their customers
· Corp policy pertaining to data center operations
· Responsible for the DCIM program
· As Dcim is implemented, each of their datacenters (mapping the systems into dcim)
"mapping BMS data into our DCIM system."
Target to bring 25 data centers into DCIM this year, currently at 4.
1 contract resource is mapping data centers into dcim.
Top skill:
Higher end candidate: BACnet, Modbus, OPC ( an expert in 1 or more of these)
Getting data form one of this protocols and mapping into the datacenter
MS Excell – scripting, able to code with something that gives you the equivalent of scripting (i.e. Powershell)
Can look at data captures and really understand what is happening
Other portion:
Team: 5 support the corporation gladly
Duration: funded through the year. may want to convert end of the year.
174 data centers (Verizon included)
