Role: PeopleSoft HCM consultant

Duration: About 8 Months
Location: NYC, NY

Critical Key requirements

• Required to have 4+ years prior experience in HCM (Talent Management a must)
• Detailed functional knowledge in one or more modules for PeopleSoft HR
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Experience implementing upgrades/implementations
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Project

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the BSC Human Resources office with PeopleSoft functional/support analysis work in:

• Perform analysis of business processes, business and system requirements and system design for the development and configuration of software applications that support MTA business requirements
• Document As-Is and To-Be process flows for existing and future systems
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews, requirements, and various status reports
• Assist Human Resources in the PUM upgrade/implementation & support of PeopleSoft HCM HR modules
• Work with technical team to resolve development of open items

 DELIVERABLES& DUE DATES

Documents detailing:

• Functional Requirements review
• Technical Design
• Test Plans
• Unit Test results
• Status Report

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Detailed understanding of, and experience with, PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher
• Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; a self-starter
