Position : Sr Java Developers with expertise in Video-workflow – J2EE+Cloud.
Location : NY/NJ
Duration: 12+ Months
Significant experience in Video- Workflow management, Video Lifecycle, Understanding of Video Metadata is MUST.
Need Strong hands on J2EE developers to work on migration of Video Transcoding workflow from current in-house to AWS Cloud based capabilities
Experience in using Elemental Products + AWS or Google Cloud desirable
Cloud experience in a MUST
Required Skills
Experience with various Video processing technologies, server side development, OO Modeling, Middleware, Relational Databases and distributed computing technologies.
Experience in Digital Video workflows (Ingest, Transcode, Publish)
Experience in Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Experience with Video Content Management Systems
Expertise in cloud transcoding workflows.
Demonstrated experience running projects end-to-end
Possess expert knowledge in Performance, Scalability, Security, Enterprise System Architecture, and Engineering best practices.
Experience working on large scale, high traffic web sites / applications.
Experience working in financial, media domain.
Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS cloud technology related to video processing.
Expertise with Elemental technologies
Languages and Software
· Languages : JAVA (Core Java, Multithreading), Object Oriented languages
Web Technologies: XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, OO JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, SOAP and RESTful web services
· Framework : MVC Framework like Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Jaxb, AWS lambda
· Database : RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, NO SQL databases
· Tools : Git, SVN, Eclipse, Jira
