Title: SQL Server DBA (GIS experience)
Location: New Castle, DE 19720
Duration: 1 Year (approx)
Client: New Castle County
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Services to be performed cover GIS projects using ESRI Technology, software maintenance and
- upgrade, including support for ArcSDE services running on SQL Server and/or Linux and general
- GIS requirements as they occur.
- Experience in web site development and maintenance as it applies to GIS is also required.
ANTICIPATED PROJECTS
1. On-demand assistance/support with ArcSDE for SQL Server issues during regular business hours.
2. Standardization of GIS servers across multiple operations in New Castle County.
3. Integration of Pictometry IPA with JavaScript web application.
4. Implementation of the Local Government Information Model for seamless integration of ESRI
solutions.
ANTICIPATED SERVICES
General support for ESRI products and related SQL Server databases.·
GIS technology upgrades required for compliance with ESRI deprecation plan.·
Support for ArcSDE running on SQL Server.·
Any GIS related project as required by NCC.·
Support for JavaScript API for ArcGIS Server and ESRI Web App Builder.·
Maintenance and Creation of Python scripts.·
Support of Add-ons and third party solutions for ESRI products including New World CAD,·
City Works and Parcel Fabric.
