Our top client, located in the (Chicago, IL) is currently seeking a (QA Performance Test Lead) resource to join their organization. I have included a complete job description below in case you or someone you know might be interested in learning more.
 
Role: QA Performance Test Lead

Location: Chicago, IL (LOCAL ONLY)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

KNOWLEDGE:
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong project organizations skill, including prioritization, planning and organization required
• Hands on Performance Testing experience including test execution using HP Performance Center / Load Runner (or equivalent tool) required
• Hands on / expert in HP VuGen scripting (or equivalent) for Web/HTTP and web services protocols required
• Performance Center Administration experience a plus
• Experience in testing enterprise scaled / multi-tier environments that includes web applications (Java / .net), Desktop / thick client applications, web services, Messaging architecture (EMS, MQ, TIBCO) , Oracle / SQL server DBs, Mainframe backend required
• Expert in any coding / scripting language with ability to create custom test scripts to provide automation solutions for applications required
• Hands on expertise in using performance monitoring & diagnostic tools to set up, configure and monitor Windows and Unix / Linux operating systems and gather server side metrics for performance testing engagements required
• Hands on Knowledge of "Service Virtualization" concepts is preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:
• 8+ years load and performance experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master's degree preferred
• Test Automation certifications (QTP / Load Runner / Performance Center or Equivalent) preferred
• Experience performing the duties related to software test management and Quality Assurance required
• Experience in application development, multiple major project delivering of med-large scale projects/programs preferred
• Experience required in multiple technical platforms, operating systems, databases and development languages including but not limited to web, mainframe, Unix and Client Server preferred
• Must have worked within a multi-disciplined, cross-functional technical organization with matrixes reporting relationship preferred
• Experience in travel industry, especially airline related is preferred
• Experience with High Transactional eCommerce application is preferred OTHER
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Flexibility to work during nights on deployments, weekends and with offshore teams
