Need help for below positions. 

Position 1:

Role: SAS Administrator L3

Location: Richardson, TX


Prefer USC and GC only

 

Job Description:

  • 5+ Experience in SAS Administration.
  • Experience with administering SAS platform in a multi-node GRID environment.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining security model in SAS.
  • Experience with SAS Visual Analytics
  • Experience with deployment of codes from lower environment to higher environment (Dev to Test or Test to Prod)
  • Experience with troubleshooting GRID problems.
  • Experience with backup of metadata, configurations and restore
  • Experience with reading through SAS logs to work through problems finding root causes and rectifying.
  • Experience with alternative authentication providers such as Active Directory.
  • Must have experience in Unix/Linux platform, includes Unix scripting and job scheduling.
  • Installation, Upgrade, maintenance and support of all SAS components including GRID.
  • Security Management - Administration of SAS Users, Groups, roles.
  • Respond to and resolve tickets on technical issues related to SAS Platform within defined SLAs.
  • Co-ordinate with SAS Support for any unresolved issues and tool specific issues or hot fixes/patches.
  • Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS server usage.
  • Deep level troubleshooting includes RCA.
  • Identifying problems in advance and looking for continuous service improvements .
    Participate in problem management and come up with trend analysis on recurring incidents
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation related to the SAS environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring others in the team
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Provide on-call support

Position 2:

Role: DataStage & MDM Admin

Location: Chicago, IL


Prefer USC and GC only

 

Need resource SME on Datastage and knowledge of MDM is desirable

 

Job Description:

The individual holds responsibility to deploy, maintain and support IBM InfoSphere Datastage and MDM including integration with databases, data warehouses and report writing. Critical to this role is the need to interface with both operations and technical personnel to ensure the integrity and availability of the Datastage environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Configuration of Datastage server and its components like director, designer, Information Manager and Administrator.
  • Start and stop the Datastage services and components including IBM WebSphere/Information server components. 
  • User Account Management – Create and manage user RnR, Security
  • Patch Management – Review and Execution of technology and Bug fixes Patches
  • Life Cycle management of Software - Monitor the de-supported Software versions.
  • Monitoring of Datastage environment and its Components for Availability
  • Monitor the space usage, log files, ETL scheduled jobs for any error, failures and server usage ( Capacity Monitoring)
  • Performance Management – Monitor the performance of Datastage application and its components ( Excluding Application Programs).
  • Backup of application and its components configuration files
  • Backup of Application Metadata and repository
  • Troubleshooting – Service Requests, Incidents, Problem related to Datastage and its components technologies/framework, JVM issues (exclude program / code issues)
  • Release Management – Deployment of codes, job and scripts migrations in between different environments 
  • Change Management – Review and execute approved changes on Datastage application and its components
  • Upgrade of Datastage applications and its components
  • DR Support – Monitor and maintain the DR setup. Participate in  DR Drills
  • CMDB – Update the CMDB for Datastage and its components
  • Application Support – Provide the admin support to ETL development team as and when required on technology and its framework.
  • Peer team Co-ordination -  Work with other peer team (OS, Storage, Network, Compute, Database) for any infrastructure support.
  • Support the purging / Archiving the data activity as per Purging/Archiving Policy
  • Technology / Framework troubleshooting for Datastage applications
  • Create and Update of SOP for all ETL admin work
  • SSL and SSO support to Datastage Applications
  • Monitor, Manage and Support the High Availability on Datastage applications
  • Co-ordination with vendor for Software support as per Client-Vendor agreement

 

Position 3: 

Role: Cognos BI & TM1 Administrator

Location: Richardson, TX


Prefer USC and GC only

 

Required Skills: Cognos / TM1 / Motio position - This is combined skill for Cognos and TM1. Motio is small tool and candidate should be flexible to work on this

 

Job Description:

       5+ Experience in Cognos BI Administration .

       1+ Experience in Cognos TM1 administration

       Experience with security management in Cognos BI and TM1,

       Experience with Cognos BI and TM1 backup and restore

       Experience with reading through application logs to work through problems finding root causes and rectifying.

       Experience with alternative authentication providers such as Active Directory.

       Installation, Upgrade, maintenance and support of all Cognos BI and TM1 components.

       Utilize third-party tools like Motio to support package/reports/user/folder deployments in Cognos BI

       Creation and maintenance of system documentation related to the Cognos BI and TM1  environment

       Deep level troubleshooting includes RCA.

       Identifying problems in advance and looking for continuous service improvements .
Participate in problem management and come up with trend analysis on recurring incidents

       Strong communication and organizational skills.

       Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables.

       Experience in managing and mentoring others in the team

       Partner with the DBA, Systems, Networking, and Middleware teams, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence team to facilitate issue resolution

       Knowledge of ITIL practices

       Provide on-call support
