Position: Sr. SQL DBA

Location: San Mateo, CA

Duration: 6+ Month.

 

Only USC or GC consultants can apply for this position

 

- To review, we're looking for someone who can start around 20 hours per week. I really would need the person on site almost the entire time, but with remote work possibly later on as things get settled.

 

- The work would focus on assessing our current instances, implementing monitoring, improving backups, preparing disaster recovery schemes and coordinating and planning instance patches and upgrades. After-hours work is assumed, as well, but only on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.

 

- Install, Maintain & analyze the Microsoft SQL server 2014 infrastructure.

 

- Troubleshoot client related SQL Database issues

 

- Strong background in SQL programming, optimizations, profiling, and troubleshooting
