Required Skills -

 

The resource MUST have both HANA Modeling and Tableau Reporting skills.

 

• A minimum of 10 years architecting Data Warehouse projects.

• A minimum 3+ years of experience as a "Hands-On" HANA Architect and Modeling experience; Hands-on development a Must.

• A minimum of 2 years of Tableau report and dashboard development on HANA views

• A strong experience implementing SAP Data extractors to pull information from an SAP ERP system into a data warehouse

• Knowledge and experience with Change Data Capture concept related to SAP data extractor implementation per best practices

• Demonstrated working knowledge of where to pull core/key information from SAP ERP such as but not limited to Sales Order Data, Financial information, Material Master data, etc.

• Hands-on experience with HANA architecture with best practices in implementing HANA data structures

• Experience creating semantic layer, calculation views, and other analytical concepts within HANA

• Hands on development of Tableau reports and visualizations against the HANA semantic layer

• Design, develop, test, and roll-out of enterprise data warehouse and data marts

• Strong knowledge of BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data integration best practices

• Strong Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.

• Ability to write SQL Script views and stored procedures

• Experience working with SAP Business Objects and equivalent reporting and data discovery tools.

• Ability to partner with business units, product owners, and technology stakeholders to translate potential data-driven ideas into fully developed data and analytic solutions.

• Creates specifications for data, reporting, and analytic solutions based on business needs and required/available data elements.

• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills Additional:

 

• Knowledge in SAP HANA advanced features – Dynamic Tiering, Smart Data Integration and HANA Application Lifecycle Manager.

• Good Knowledge of HANA XS, JavaScript and developing User Interface with SAP UI5.

• Experience in using SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services), SLT and SDA (Smart Data Access) to extract structured/unstructured data from different source systems into HANA.
