Duration: 18 month contract
Mode: Phone and Skype
Rate: $35/-hr c2c max
Must Haves:
• 6+ years Java development experience
• Prior working experience on Spring MVC, Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Experienced developer with JSF knowledge (3+ years)
• Experience on unit testing and mock testing
• Demonstrated knowledge about Web Services (REST based)
• Experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, RDS and S3
• Experience on Linux
• Experience with full life-cycle software applications development (i.e., design, construction, testing, and implementation)
• Able to design and build systems that are integrated with other client systems
Must be able to obtain Public Trust security clearance (live in US for at least 5 years)
Plusses:
Experience with Eclipse
Previous work supporting government client

Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer to support a public sector client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. The Java Developer will be responsible for coding applications for the US Government. The applications are Core Java utilizing Spring MVC, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. The candidate must have experencie with AWS (Amazon Web Services). The developer will be taking the application through the entire SDLC, including design, construction, testing, and implementation.
