Our well-established, fast growing client is seeking a Software Engineer to work on developing highly available and distributed server applications for all markets served. You will be part of the team that researches, designs, develops and operates the core data systems of the company.
You will work closely with product management and customers to understand and refine market requirements. You will also work closely with the other members of the team to support the operation of the central servers. This role is hands-on, and you'll be implementing alongside other developers while championing a clean, pragmatic design for the entire system.
· Design and implement highly available systems for ingesting and distributing weather and aviation data
· Prepare, collaborate on, and review Software Engineering designs and implementations in Scala and Java using functional and OO programming
· Contribute to and review product requirements and QA test plans
· Help customer support in identifying and resolving operational issues
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 5 years of related experience in full cycle software development with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities
· Experience with software development in Java, including build automation tools such as Maven
· Experience with non-relational (NoSQL) databases
· Experience with in-memory data stores and caches
· Experience with large scale data/distributed systems
· Experience with multithreading and concurrency
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations

Position: Systems Analyst
Location - Vienna or Herndon, VA or Pensacola FL
Duration: 6 months+
Need USC/GC/GC EAD/TN/H4/E3/OPT and Local Candidate because interview Mode F2F

The Requirement Analyst (Systems Analyst) supports Information Technology and works with both business and technical teams by managing the analysis of system requirements for business initiatives.
Specific activities for creating and managing system requirements include:
- Ability to work on larger and more complex projects and initiatives with little direction
- Analyzes and translates unique and highly complex business requirements into system requirements
- Broad knowledge and expertise of systems in the Financial Services / Banking industry required
- Develops and presents demonstrations of proposed solutions to project issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate must have at least 8+ years of systems analysis experience and have technical experience in their background.
- Demonstrated experience with Visio
- Demonstrated experience in systems analysis and workflow analysis
- Demonstrated experience of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing, translating and communicating system requirements
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, and make sound decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated use of established system requirements elicitation techniques
- Experience using requirement management tools is a plus.
