Android Developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Long term contract

Role would include Xamarin in addition to PhoneGap experience and development in an agile approach.

Skills Requirements 

• Overall 3-6 years of experience in Developing Mobile Applications 

• 3+ years of mandatory hands on experience in Android app development 

• Have published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store 

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes 

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices 

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning 

• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines 

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services 

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications 

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT, SVN
