Role : Front End UI Developer
Location : Chicago, IL (downtown Loop)
Duration : 6+ Months with likely extensions
Interview : Phone then Face to face
Job Responsibilities
· The project is to build the next generation, responsive and user focused BI experience for customers. The engineer will be helping build the UI for the Satori BI tool.
· Planning the UI as an Angular2 web application, powered by Qlik BI API in the backend. The development will include data selector pages as well as visualization (charts, graphs etc)
· Also upgrading the Satori web pages to be more responsive and customized for users
Job Requirement
· Experience with a front-end framework like AngularJS or ReactJS with experience in Responsive Design and d3js and other data visualization libraries.
· Knowledge of build automation tools like Gulp or Grunt, CSS preprocessors, ReST API design will also be required.
· Additionally, SVG, A/B UX testing, Google Analytics, testing frameworks like Karma or Protractor, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo, or cloud deployment are preferred
· Our core development is in Java so knowledge of Java will be helpful
