Job Description:

DataStage Admin (Mandatory)
As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing) You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product. You are responsible for functional/technical track of a project.
Minimum work experience: 8+ Years

Additional Notes/Comments:

8 to 10 Years Exp as Datastage Administrator on Unix & LINUX Servers · Install/upgrade Information Server product suite on different tiers (Server and Client).
This includes DataStage · Analyze existing Infrastructure and DataStage jobs, ensuring best practices are being followed, and recommending short term and long term improvement roadmap · Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the ETL environment.
Reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly) on health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs.
Infrastructure optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Apply fixes, patches and Service Packs as required and provided, keeping the DS environment up-to-date.
Maintain ownership of release activities which interact with ETL projects. Work with Prod Support to maintain and administer the ETL deployment environment.
Provide technical expertise, direction, and development support for the ETL development team as well as support to the developers · Perform environment monitoring capacity and performance tuning · Backup/DR Process · Outage/Reboot Process (Pre / Post Outage activities)
User Access, Creation of new users, Assigning access to users and groups, . Removal of users and access
