Role: WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Engineer

Location: Durham, NC

 

Job Description:

Experience supporting products running on AIX, Linux or other UNIX variants.

 

Required Experience working in the technical architecture field. - Required 7 Years

Experience supporting production java application server environments using IBM WebSphere,WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle AppServer, or iPlanet. Required 7 Years

Experience using and configuring Dynatrace Application Monitoring, or similar tool. Required 7 Years

Experience with enterprise level monitoring tools, performance testing and tuning. Required 7 Years

Two or more years experience with shell scripting, Jython, JACL, and/or PERL scripting. Required 3 Years

Experience and proficiency with operating system utilities such as vi, top/topas, crontab, nslookup, ifconfig, and ssh. Required 7 Years

Experience with LDAP Directory integration and Oracle/DB2 integration. Required 7 Years

Security experience including SSL certificates, hardening, and PEN tests. Required 7 Years

Prefer AIX or Linux certification. Highly desired

Prefer IBM WebSphere Application Server certification. Highly desired

Prefer experience with DynaTrace or other application performance monitoring tools. Highly desired
