Provide certification planning and execution of new complex infrastructure and application services that interact across networked application components and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for certification planning and execution of new complex infrastructure and application services that interact across networked application components and technologies
2) Must verify systems and/or applications and/or systems design against technical requirements and definition which at times are sparse and will require detailed research.
3) Must be able to manage internal and vendor bugs, design gaps and root cause analysis.
4) Must be able to perform black-box, white-box, end-to-end, and performance testing.
5) Responsible for testing across various operating systems (e.g. SunOS, Linux, Windows), data stores (e.g. database, ldap), and APIs.
6) Responsible for working within SDLC and Agile development environments.
7) Must be able to provide automated tests.
8) Responsible for developing scripts and tools using several languages and products including, QTP, UFT, SQL, Selenium, HTML, Ruby, JavaScript, Python, and Perl.

Security Software and Resiliency team employs an AGILE Scrum process to rapidly design, code and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into newly developed security software using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, JUnit, Nagios, and Chef. We strive for technical excellence with a highly skilled and diverse workforce with a deep knowledge base in modern computing languages, development methodologies, and platforms. The successful test engineer in this organization will be member of a Security Software Product Team and will be responsible for designing, writing, testing, and maintaining test plans and automated tests. Java literacy and a deep working knowledge of test automation technology and techniques is essential. This position will implement solutions supporting Cloud Security Systems or Threat Management Systems and will likely also participate in DevOps design, development, and maintenance to achieve continuous deployment and systems management.
This Engineer will have:
• Experience in developing and organizing test plans.
• Working knowledge of one or more computer languages.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate technical details about system behaviors with the developers.
