Job Description:

 

·         A minimum of 8 years of DBA experience with MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Always On Availability, and SQL Server Transaction Replication. 

·         Must possess the ability to perform work in a "Dev/Ops" environment, direct and act as a resource for less experienced analysts and relay necessary information as appropriate. 

·         Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

·         Evaluates current database environments, conducts research, recommends and implements innovate systems technology that can enhance the reliability, security, productivity and efficiency of the database infrastructure. 

·         Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking, replication , connectivity, security issues, etc.

·         Database Administration for MSSQL Server, Replication Server and SSRS

·         Troubleshooting and resolving database problems

·         Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

·         Backups, restores and recovery models

·         Adheres to company security policies and effectively controls access to data.

·         Implementing operations automation using scripts
