An Infrastructure Project Manager as part of the Technical Operations and System Administration Team with responsibility for the planning, monitoring and reporting of the projects taken on by the groups. The successful candidate will be required to manage the real time infrastructure projects through their life cycle from managing the design phase of a technical delivery through planning, scheduling and reporting and continuing to support  the project through implementation, commissioning and handover to the Technical Operations team. As part of the infrastructure delivery team the role will interface with all areas of Real-Time globally and be ensuring key projects are delivered across multiple teams and external suppliers. Based out of the Chicago office the role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate an ability to effectively work across cultures and timezones in ensuring quality, timely delivery of projects

Responsibilities:

Manage and track a wide range of internal and external projects associated with Realtime business objectives;

• Creation of plans and project tracking to ensure successful delivery

• Ensure tasks are completed and timelines are delivered as set by Operational Management.

• Manage and deliver project status, updates and reporting to team and stakeholders

• Document project roles and responsibilities to ensure ownership is clear for the successful delivery of project objectives.

• Manage meetings and provide timely minutes and assigned actions

• Document and manage risks, issues, change management and delays during project life cycle and ensure timely escalation.

• Adopt the Global Project Management Framework.

Manage and maintain Project documentation, keeping project processes and documentation updated with the latest versions. Manage and maintain Telecoms relationships as they relate to projects in scope

 

• Schedule and attend regular service review meetings.

• Manage telecoms Quotes, Orders and Modifications.

• Maintain records for circuit detail, costs and contracts.

• Project management qualifications are also preferred. E.g. Prince 2

• Knowledge of JIRA and confluence

• The ideal candidate will be pro-active, flexible and creative.

• Ability to work in a demanding environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills which are necessary to work with colleagues and clients.

• Solid working knowledge of Windows and an understanding of IP communications and technologies

• Documentation and organizational skills are essential.
