The specified Job description is specific for experienced & skilled SAP PLM Consultant having a strong SAP PLM Recipe Development consulting experience of more than 5 Years with good business knowledge of product development in process industries.

Candidate may serve as SAP PLM Sr. Consultant or team member and should be able to work independently at customer project locations in the US regions.

Required skills:

SAP PLM Experience:   Should have more than five years of hands on experience working with SAP PLM solution components as below.

 

 Skills Required:

 

SAP RD – Web based Recipe Development ( PLM-WUI-RCP )

·         Web-Based User Interface for Specification Management

·         Creation of Raw Material/BOM

·         Raw Material Extension and BOM Creation authorizations

·         Product Labeling in PLM Web User Interface

·         PSS-Product Structure synchronization (Synchronization of Recipes and Material BOMs using PSS)

SAP DMS –Document management system

SAP ECM Engineering change management

SAP PLM 7.01/02 NWBC Web-UI

·         Work canter and control center

·         Embedded Search

·         Object Navigator

·         Access Control Management

BCV- Business context viewer for the analysis of recipes in Recipe Development

Workflow development for Recipe Development

TREX –Embedded search from PLM WUI

 

 Skills Desirable:

SAP SPRC Product & Reach Compliance

SVT –Substance volume tracking for NA, Canada & other regions

Integration of compliance info to POs, Sales Orders and Shipping Orders

Product Compliance Reporting

 

 Candidate should have excellent knowledge of the above specified modules in addition to good knowledge of integration with SAP EHS. And sound knowledge of other SAP modules as PP, MM, and QM.

 Functional skills:

Strong communication skill with Good functional understanding about overall Product development processes for Process industry.

Should have through knowledge & strong hands-on expertise in configuration of SAP Recipe Development PLM solution component.

Should be able to identify gaps in SAP standard solution with knowledge & experience to enhance the SAP PLM to address the gaps.

Should be aware of the various SAP PLM Component specific function modules, BADI's, BAPI's and WEB-Dynpro developments required to enhance the SAP PLM Solution

Should be capable of to Validate existing PLM RD deployment and identify missing solution and highlight with POC examples

Should be aware of Master Data required in SAP PLM Components and knowledge in preparing data templates and gathering customer master data

Ability to write detailed and clear functional specifications and explain to tech team, also should have knowledge of SAP PLM Technical objects for better explanation to technical team & for testing

Manage customer expectation and deliver solution as per expectation

Should be able to communicate with customer for requirement gathering & solution building & prepare blueprint document supported by industry best practices as get customer acceptance/signoff.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

Implementation project experience: Required experience of at least two end to end SAP PLM implementation projects and total of minimum five SAP PLM component specific implementation including support activities for PLM Recipe development.

 

 Domain Experience:

Should have around four to six years of strong domain experience in product development in any of the industry (Process, discreet) preferably in Complex NPD Process. Insights into Industry Best Practices and capability to conceptualize business solutions

 

 Communication Skills:

Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Should be able to effectively interact with customer for requirement gathering, solution presentation and acceptance, training and project co-ordination from an onsite-offshore working model.
