Title: Java UI Application Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 3+Months
Primary Skills:
· Design and Development J2EE, HTML5, J2EE Architecture, JAVASCRIPT, Jetty App Server, Lead Experience (8-15 People).
· Experience developing HTML5 front end solutions, Experience leading offshore development teams, experiencing leading a dev team using Agile SDLC methodology.
Description Of Services:
Responsible for overall design and solution architecture of new web application, and provide documentation for the solution architecture. Participates in client workshops with a technical mindset. Provides technical guidance and incorporates effective practices into the project. Performs estimation of level of effort for implementation planning. Acts as onsite technical design and delivery lead. Responsible for framework implementation and development readiness. Coordinates with off-shore resources. Works closely with the UX Architect. Responsible for environment preparation. Communicates needs and status back to the project manager. Leads onsite Product Demos & feedback.
Deliverables:
Application Development artifacts The current functionality available in the current web application, migrated to the new architecture and incorporating the new look & feel. Artifacts will include source code, configuration files, test cases, database scripts, deployment procedures, application setup procedures. Project Documentation Technical design and architecture implementation documentation to support the development activities as well as the documentation required for operational support.
Acceptance Criteria:
Project Manager will work closely with the Architect and provide oversight and sign off on the deliverables
Required Skills:
· 3 years of experience designing and building solutions using Kendo UI as the UI framework
· 5 years of experience designing and building solutions using Spring as the web framework
· 3 years of experience designing and building solutions using a template engine such as FreeMarker
· have 4 years of experience designing and building solutions using Jetty as application server
