Role: Programmer/Developer Lead – Build Engineer

Work Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration 3+months CTH

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.  Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.

• Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.

 

Required Skills,

1.      Able to assess code, build it, and run applications locally on his/her own

2.      Experience with Chef or other automation tools

3.      Familiarity with build-time dependency management (Maven or Ivy)

4.      Experience in code quality measurement tools – such as static analysis (e.g. Lint/Coverity) Dynamic analysis and unit-test automation tools (SONAR etc)

5.      Experience with make ANT and Eclipse development platform

6.      Experience in multi-product/platform code-base configuration management across multiple generations Responsibilities:

7.      Design & implement automated web-based dashboards for showing results of static analysis, dynamic analysis & code coverage tools.

8.      Establish tools to manage software branch/merging processes
