Sr. Java Solutions Architect with Cloud & MicroServices Contact: 12+ months Location: Austin, Texas Phone then Skype  These are senior roles 8-10+ years and they need at least 6+ months and 1+ projects working with microservices.   DOE #java #cloud #Microservices Overview We are looking for a "Hands On" Java Software Solutions Architect with deep technical background in large scale SOA(service oriented architecture applications). Successful candidates will have 10-15 years of software engineering experience working at the Enterprise level with global projects. Candidates will be strong and adept at design, orchestration, development and support processes for java and distributed cloud media. Familiar with and SME level using Spring Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry Applications with Cloud (AWS, Azure and more), and working with Agile software development methodologies such as XP/TDD/Scrum. Required Experiences Minimum 10-12 years of Java development experience Experience to Build and use SOAP and RESTful web service to communicate with other upstream and downstream applications. Experience on ADP Meta Data Framework and Java Persistence Architecture Experience on Java Server Faces , JQuery and CSS to develop the User Interface Environment: Java J2EE, Oracle, MongoDB, UNIX, WAS 7.0 server, Spring Boot, JPA framework, jQuery, WEB Service REST and SOAP, Prime faces JSF, Linux Env. Expert skills in at least one of these frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Pivotal and Micro services ( Most important and should hold this experience) • Deep working knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring configuration, and all related components. • Modern design patterns: Builder, command, singleton, etc. as well as anti-patterns • REST based services & Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and implementation of SOAP based Web Services • Application development using Junit, JMS, JNDI • Application development using Spring Data, Hibernate, MongoDb • Understanding of distributed caching such as Redis etc. • Tomcat and/or other enterprise class development and deployment environment such as WebSphere or WebLogic • Typical experience with Maven • TFS and or Git • Linux and Windows runtime environments for development and testing Must have deep knowledge and understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and implementation of SOAP based Web Services Modern design patterns: Builder, command, Singleton, etc. as well as anti-patterns Expert in Spring and/or Pivotal Cloud Frameworks (SCF/PCF)and all related components Some background with Tomcat and/or other enterprise class development and deployment environment such as WebSphere or WebLogic Excellent communication skills as you will be client facing with C level Executives at the client site working with BOTH the business and also the IT application development teams [Pivotal] Cloud Foundry (PCF) and 12-factor app architecture, design, and implementation AngularJS or other browser client side frameworks RabbitMQ highly available AMQP based application development Responsibilities Participate in Agile software development projects and tasks including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, peer-review, deploying, monitoring, and support. Participate in task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with specific internal procedures and standards, as well as industry best practices

 

Ensure and demonstrate code quality through comprehensive and effective unit testing coverage. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, project managers, product managers, quality assurance, management and operations.
