Job description:

 

1.       Oracle DBA: years

2.       Oracle 11g and 12c database installation, administration, and maintenance: years

3.       Oracle RAC clustering: years

4.       Oracle RMAN backup methodologies: years

5.       Configure and administer Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and ACFS: years

6.       Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager: years

7.       PL/SQL query tuning and optimizations: years

8.       UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting: years

9.       PLUS - MySQL database administration: years

10.   PLUS - Golden Gate and/or Data Guard experience: years

11.   PLUS - Oracle certifications:

 

Description:

 

Client is looking for a mid-level Oracle DBA with the following required skills:

 

•                    Oracle 11g and 12c database installation, administration, and maintenance.

•                    Experience with Oracle RAC clustering.

•                    Proficiency with Oracle RMAN backup methodologies.

•                    Ability to configure and administer Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and ACFS.

•                    Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager.

•                    Familiarity with PL/SQL query tuning and optimizations.

•                    Proficiency with UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

•                    Strong written and verbal skills with a focus on customer service.

•                    Ability to work in virtual teams and independently when required.

 

Optional Skill Sets:

•                    MySQL database administration.

•                    Golden Gate and/or Data Guard experience.

 

Qualifications:

•        Minimum 4 years of Oracle DBA experience.

•        Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related engineering or technical fields.

•        Oracle certifications a plus.
