Position: Tibco BW Consultant
Location: Watsonville, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Client: West Marine
We have a need for a resource with below skills and qualifications.
Ideally the candidate has Tibco Business Works, Tibco Admin, Tibco Ems , Tibco Hawk, Tibco Business Connect , TIBCO Rendezvous ,Web Services and Tibco Adapters knowledge/experience.
Tibco is upgrading Tibco Business Works to 6.0 from 5.11 (which we run currently). So a candidate with Business Works 6.0 experience would be ideal.

| Job Description: (List at least 5) Reporting to the Manager Corporate Systems, the candidate is responsible for contributing to the integration technology roadmap. The successful candidate will rely on past experience in addition to general direction to perform these job functions. The TIBCO Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying data integrations between a variety of applications. Must have developer/analyst experience in full software development lifecycle, capable of coding in Java. Develops solutions requiring collaboration with other IT Teams, West Marine departments and external vendors.
1. Provide technical and thought leadership in the area of system integration 2. Executes on the implementation of IT integration projects. 3. Provides support to application teams with regards to integrations. 4. Works with 3rd party and in-house support organizations. 5. Provide after-hours on-call escalation as part of the on-call rotation and to support projects. |
| Qualifications: (List at least 5) 1. Bachelor of Science Degree in a Computer Related Field 2. 3+ Years TIBCO Business Works and Enterprise Messaging Service experience 3. Enterprise Data Services development and delivery using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 4. Java/J2EE experience 5. SQL and experience working with Databases (such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) 6. Working knowledge of XML and Web Services 7. Broad experience using various integration techniques including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) tools and methods 8. Middleware technologies - TIBCO experience preferred 9. Experience with ODBC, JDBC, MQ, FTP(S), WDSL, HTTP(S) 10. Ability to analyze business requirements 11. Design solutions that effectively meet/exceed business requirements using best practice methodologies for SOA/ESB 12. Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively 13. Ability to create/maintain effective system documentation 14. Ability to deliver projects according to published schedule 15. Must possess strong customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks at once 16. Ability to work alone 17. Strong attention to detail
