Lead Hyperion Planning Developer

Overview:
The Lead Hyperion Planning Developer will lead efforts to develop new systems and upgrades and updates to existing systems, throughout the entire application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Requirements:
• 8-10 years overall Hyperion Planning Experience
• 3 years Architecting Hyperion Planning
• Design experience with Hyperion Planning Forms and Calc Scripts and Business Rules
• Understanding of Planning Methodologies in a large organizational setting
• Ability to manage an offshore team and ensure quality deliverables
• Ability to create and present Business and Executive level presentations
• Expert communication skills, both written and verbal
• At least one Hyperion PBCS Architecture Implementation
• Oracle PBCS Cloud Certification a plus (must be working towards it if not presently held)
• Proven track record of delivering assigned tasks on time and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities:
• Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future capability
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment
• Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
• Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes
• Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved
• Review and assess existing enterprise applications, to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and ongoing sustainment
• Analyze large, complex systems to determine performance bottlenecks, application bugs, and opportunities to improve efficiency
• Plan and conduct software architecture assessments that examine server-side, client-side, and database system configuration and performance
• Identify areas of instability and deviations from best practices amongst application components
• Participate in performance, load, and stress testing, and remediation of issues identified
• Participate in security architecture reviews of large enterprise systems
• Participate in activities that ensure the successful use of these systems including: developing documentation, test scripts, and training materials
