Job Description
The individual will develop and lead implementation of rigorous QA best practices. The candidate will also establish and influence quality engineering best practices across the development community. Should have at-lest 6+ years of experience in manual testing of web based portal and enterprise application. Responsible for test estimation, defining test strategies, scenarios and test cases; review of test cases and candidate will be responsible for identification of end to end workflows.
Responsibilities
As a QA Lead you will create test plans according to interaction / visual specifications and customer specific environment.
Estimate project work and be accountable for delivering on tasks.
Candidate should evaluate complex and multifaceted designs and raise potential scope issues to the team.
Candidate will also be required to support our customers development and software QA teams by answering questions and implementing feedback.
With time in the seat you could grow to assist in the testing strategy and approach to implementation through collaboration with customer.
It is your responsibility to understand the overall testing and delivery process including a high level picture of what each practice does and how everything fits together.
Candidate will write appropriate technical documentation to aid in knowledge transfer.
Candidate will work within a team setting; work towards meeting our customer's goals while growing your own professional QA skills.
Should have working experience with onsite-offshore model and candidate will work with offshore team.
Mortgage domain knowledge is value add and candidate should have very strong communication skills.
