Job Description: Contractor will participate in troubleshooting and maintaining the network infrastructure as directed. Resolves day-to-day network-related outages, latency, and connectivity problems as third tier support for the agency Help Desk. Monitors remote network locations and communicates directly with those locations to obtain clarification of problems and to identify solutions or corrective actions. Communicates directly or through web portal with AT&T TMAC to report site outages and provide escalation to unresolved issues. Updates call management and network access databases relating to network site upgrades and status.
Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years
Years Skills/Experience
3 Experience troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class TCP/IP networks and associated routing and switching devices.
3 Experience using network monitoring tools or software to monitor, troubleshoot or analyze traffic on network segments.
3 Experience communicating or directing non-technical users over the phone to assist with troubleshooting steps.
3 Skill in effective verbal and written communication
3 Ability to work collaboratively on a team.
3 Ability to pay close attention to details.
