Job Description:

 

·         Client is seeking a skilled Informatica developer to contribute to the ETL - design, development, testing, implementation and support of a data warehouse 

·         Responsibilities: 

·         Design, develop, test, migrate and implement ETL mappings and jobs for Valspar's Enterprise Data warehouse.

·         Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, technical leads and DBA's to understand and implement the business and technical requirements.

·         Proactively identify any impacts to ETL data flows and data to maximize the value of information across the organization.

·         Perform tactical data analysis, data integration, migration, unit testing and regression tasks as part of application development life cycle with limited supervision to provide a high data quality solution.

·         Work closely with Data Architects and Technical leads to gather and implement the technical requirements.

·         Develop and execute optimized ETL mappings and jobs as per industry best practices and standards.

·         Develop technical and knowledge transfer documentation and perform code review with technical ETL team.

·         Work on other ETL tasks and documentation as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·         Must have min 8+ of exp

·         5+ years of Enterprise-level experience in ETL design, development, testing and implementation of datamarts using Informatica Power Center and Kimball methodology

·         Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or similar

·         Experience with developing, executing and tuning ETL mappings and jobs with Informatica and DAC scheduling tools using industry best practices and techniques.

·         Experience building ETL frameworks using Oracle ERP systems

·         Understanding of enterprise data models and techniques.

·         Experience with data analysis and unit testing with Transactional and Analytical Data.

·         Experience with Unix, DAC, Oracle database SQL and PL/SQL (10/11g)

·         Prior Experience with Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Regulatory, Point of Sale and Order Management would be a plus

·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·         Ability to adapt to fast paced and rapidly changing environment

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
