Job description: --must be 10+years

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud based API offerings targeting the small and medium sized Pitney Bowes customer base. You will be deeply involved in all aspects of automating and deploying our software products into the cloud environment. You will use your deep knowledge and expertise of various build and deployment tools to help us with our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment needs. The Job

·         Design and develop a set of procedures and scripts to completely automate the build, test and deployment phases of our SDLC

·         Work with cross-functional teams to identify the areas where DevOps can bring maximum benefits

·         Evaluate and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable

·         Drive monitoring and alerting requirements/implementation across components

·         Collaborate with and mentor members of the team and other coworkers

·         Be agile and embrace change

Qualifications (this heading is auto populated by Taleo)

·         Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

·         At least 3 years experience designing and delivering automated solutions for CI & CD into a cloud environment like Amazon AWS

·         Demonstrable experience with DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, UrbanCode, etc.

·         Solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment principles and prior experience with cloud platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment
