Location : Rosemead,CA

Description:-
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only)*
1. Mainframes Administration (z/OS)
2. DB2 Administration
3. Installation, configuration, Troubleshooting of Oracle Golden Gate on z/OS
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)
1.Knowledge on LPAR,DASD,OMVS
2. Knowledge about TSO, ISPF and comparing in terms of Unix is desirable
Desired years of experience* : At least 10 years of working experience in Mainframe z/OS along with DB2 Admin skills and experience on Golden Gate installation on Z/OS
Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the subcon to shoulder and execute*:-
1. In the role of Mainframe Admin, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
2. You will play an important role in creating the high level and low level design artifacts.
3. You will work on administration activities, do required user access and security configuration, with highest standards and efficiency. Will do required research and debugging to resolve any technical challenge.
Qualifications Basic:-
•Security Architecture of z/OS – RACF etc.
•Knowledge about HFS
•Should be able to enable Trace, User Management and Privileges
Preferred:-
•Knowledge of Source Database Configuration like Create GG user, turn on archive log mode, allocate enough stream_pool_size, processes, sga_target, sga_max_size etc.
•Able to help on directory creation, setting up necessary privileges for OGG installations
•Ability to compare DB2 against Oracle Technology is desirable
