Job Title: SABA LMS Consultant

Location: Wayne, PA

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Looking for Consultant with hands-on SABA LMS support experience to work on supporting a Learning Management solution using SABA. The candidate should have worked on support/maintenance of learning and document management tools. 

 

Work Experience – 8-10 years with 5+ years in LMS Support and Maintenance in SABA.

 

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience in supporting learning management solutions and document management tools, in particular SABA.

• In depth understanding of Saba LMS and experience of working on Saba Enterprise Cloud Product Line

• Knowledge of Saba database schema and proficient in writing SQL for business requirements.

• Experience with RDBMS and programming like Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Databases

• Knowledge of Saba Modules - Learning, Reports, Content Repository, HR, Analytics and System Administration

• Experience of working in support projects and ITIL key concepts

• Ability to prioritize time and work on multiple tasks with ongoing deadlines

• Strong written, oral, communications and facilitation skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and any incident management tool

• Experience of working in a virtual environment, and across different geographies and time zones

 

Desired Skills:

• SABA LMS Certification

• Service Oriented Architecture Concepts

• Advanced Analytical Skills

• Good understanding of the Pharma business environment

• Ability to develop and fix SCORM format content

• Experience supporting Saba on Mobile and IPad platforms

 

Roles and Responsibility:

• Be the Subject Matter Expert and primary point of contact for general oversight, project leadership and providing technical direction for Learning Management System requirements

• Partner with multiple teams (customer, internal support groups, vendor) to lead the support of the learning technologies

• Provide consulting to customer to meet their learning needs using SABA as a technology platform

• Support in performance management feedback and guidance

• Assist in creating supporting documentation and administrative reports (e.g. SLA Status Reports, Training Compliance Dashboards, Metrics, RCA documents for major incidents or problems etc.)

• Actively participate in and train others in the adoption and improvement of the quality standards for all supported systems; manage and mentor junior resources on SABA platform
